S54 3.5L 2 Ring Race Cams

Connecting rod bolts are common failure items on S54 engines. In response, CarBahn Autoworks has developed and engine utilizing Carrillo racing connecting rods. We also increase compression from 11.5 to 12.0 to one and increase displacement to 3.3 liters with a larger bore. To further increase power the engine has been stroked to 95mm making displacement almost 3.5L. The pistons are special CarBahn low friction race pistons. The engine also includes race cams and low friction DLC cam followers. This rebuild includes a valve job with new timing chains, timing chain guides, timing chain tensioners, Vanos overhaul and all associated seals and gaskets.
