CarBahn Performance Controller (CPC):
The CarBahn Performance Controller (CPC) is an easy-to-install electronic control unit (ECU) that significantly boosts the turbocharged cars’ horsepower and torque. This plug-and-play unit offers selectable maps, which can be accessed through a smartphone application via Bluetooth.
To access this app, you can download them from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
NOTE: This product is only compatible with Automatic Transmission equipped cars.

* Registration with CarBahn at the time of purchase is required to maintain matching warranty coverage. CarBahn reserves the right to deny warranty program enrollment under certain conditions. Please contact us before making a purchase if you have any questions.
* The warranty is valid for U.S. and Canadian specification vehicles only. If your vehicle is currently covered by the vehicle manufacturer’s new car limited warranty, CarBahn products are warranted for the remaining term of the vehicle manufacturer’s new car limited warranty. The manufacturer’s new car warranty is limited to 4 years or 50,000 miles (80,000 kilometers in Canada), starting from the date of first retail sale or the date the vehicle is first placed in-service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier. CarBahn warranties are transferable when ownership of the vehicle into which the CarBahn products were originally installed is sold. The warranty will repair or replace, without charge for parts or labor, the defective CarBahn component(s) as well as any original vehicle manufacturer component(s) directly affected by a CarBahn component, using new or authorized remanufactured parts. The decision to repair or replace said parts is at the sole discretion of CarBahn. Parts replaced under this limited warranty become the property of CarBahn. A reasonable period must be allowed for warranty repairs to be completed in all cases.
If your vehicle is outside of the vehicle manufacturer’s new car limited warranty, CarBahn will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective CarBahn component for two (2) years from the original purchase date of the CarBahn product. This warranty does not include reimbursement for repairs to any original vehicle manufacturer component(s) that may have been affected by a CarBahn component.
* Warranty exclusions:
The following are not covered under the warranty: return shipping charges, towing charges, rental car fees, damage to a component or assembly due to the installation of replacement parts that materially differ from the original vehicle manufacturer or CarBahn parts, damage resulting from the unauthorized modification of a CarBahn part or assembly, damage resulting from the use of other manufacturer products in conjunction with CarBahn products or systems, damage to the clutch due to power shifting or abuse, brake rotor warp, friction materials, maintenance services and parts replaced during maintenance such as spark plugs, lubricants, fluids, engine tune-up parts, replacement of filters, coolant, and refrigerant, mechanical adjustments or repairs resulting from normal wear and tear, drive belts, light bulbs, damage due to the failure to perform maintenance services at the specified intervals or in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or CarBahn product instructions, damage attributable to negligence or abuse, improper installation, improper treatment or treatment contrary to the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or CarBahn product instructions, engine damage resulting from alteration of CarBahn’s original boost pressure, damage resulting from the use of improper or contaminated fuel, damage occurring through corrosion resulting from weak or improper coolant, damage to a CarBahn component as a result of a collision or improper collision damage repairs, any vehicle operated in any competitive event or subjected to aggressive track conditions, custom-designed competition parts, damages resulting from loss of time, inconvenience or loss of the use of the vehicle, damage resulting from environmental influences, flood, accident, fire damage, or road salt corrosion, re-manufactured or refurbished products or components (these products are clearly identified as refurbished and are warranted for the specified period).

Like the other cooling systems on the G8X, the factory oil cooler does a pretty good job in stock form. However, once you start adding a lot of power and pushing the car in aggressive driving conditions, the factory systems start to show its limitations. Design, Development, and Testing
While the OEM Transmission Cooler is adequate for the G8X in stock form, it starts to come up a bit short on modified/tuned vehicles. Specifically ones that see heavy track/competition use. Transmission oil temperatures have a major impact on the shifting performance of your automatic transmission. If the fluid passes optimal temperatures you will start to see some delays in shifting. Sluggish shifting can be quite frustrating, but the real concern is the damage that can be done to the transmission when temperatures get too high. There are often cases where drivers don’t notice the change in shifting performance due to the gradual onset, but the damage is still being done slowly on a very expensive and important component.
By changing from the OEM single core design to a dual core, CSF was able to increase the overall volume by 194%. This design offers a drastic improvement in heat dissipation and increases the fluid capacity of the coolers by ~94%. Utilizing CSF’s AC Condenser Technology, a 1-Row Super-High Pressure 16mm 9-Channel Microtube design optimizes oil flow and offers maximum surface area contact. These features combine to offer the best possible heat dissipation from the system.
Rock Guard
CSF knows the kind of punishment the front of a car can take on or off the track. The wrong bit of debris flying through the front grille can quickly punch a hole in a cooler. Because the Transmission cooler sits at the very front of the center cooling stack, it is quite vulnerable to damage. In addition, “open face” race style grilles have become quite popular on the G8X. These grilles can add to the risk of debris passing through.

The Forgeline GA1R is a fully-forged one-piece monoblock wheel that utilizes much of the technology and design of our very successful GA3R racing wheel, including our “I-beamed” spoke technology. The concave design of the GA1R not only looks great, but allows plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitment, while the one-piece monoblock forging and I-beamed spoke design yield a wheel that is extremely stiff with fatigue strength equal to our proven GA3R. And yet despite the strength and stiffness, for most applications and sizes, it also delivers a high-performance weight reduction – making it perfect for motorsports and racing applications or the discerning street enthusiast who demands the ultimate in performance capability!
The GA1R is designed for racing. It is engineered with a 2100 lb. street-tire load rating (per wheel) to ensure strength and integrity, even when subjected to the massive loads encountered on the stickiest race tires.

RB120 – Forgeline RB1 one piece monoblock wheel set

The RB1 is a fully-forged wheel that utilizes manufacturing technology similar to the very successful GA1R wheel. The Forgeline RB1 one piece monoblock wheel features a concave 10-spoke design with a subtle directional twist on each spoke, so each set includes unique left and right versions. The RB1 also utilizes Forgeline’s I-beam technology along each spoke and along the front lip between spokes to reduce mass and enhance strength & rigidity. The one-piece monoblock forging and computer-simulated FEA design process yield a wheel that is lightweight, extremely stiff, and has excellent fatigue strength.
The Forgeline RB1 one piece monoblock wheel is machined from a single forging of 6061-T6 aluminum. It is currently available in 18, 19, 20, and 21-inch diameters with a range of widths and offsets. The Forgeline one piece monoblock RB1 is also available for limited applications in Deep Cap (DC) and Extra Deep Cap (EDC) profiles. These Deep Cap profiles employ unique in-house lathe turnings that allow us to position the center cap deep within the center of the wheel and create an exaggerated extra-aggressive concave look. This option is an excellent choice for select vehicles including the BMW M3 and certain Porsche models (rear only)
