1.) Can I install software myself or do I need to go to a CarBahn Dealer?
Software products do require a CarBahn Dealer to install, however our performance controllers can be installed at home.
2.) Will CarBahn products affect my warranty?
CarBahn has a matching factory warranty option available for a car that is still under the new car warranty.
3.) Can my DME be unlocked?
BMW’s built after 7/2020 must be unlocked by our 3rd party affiliate, before 7/2020 can be unlocked by a CarBahn Dealer.
4.) What’s the cost to upgrade software from my current stage to the next stage?
The upgrade cost is the difference between retail on current stage and the new stage of software.
5.) How do I get software if I don’t see a local CarBahn dealer?
Options may vary please contact sales department directly.
6.) Will CarBahn match my extended warranty?
CarBahn will match the new car warranty however, we also have an extended warranty available for modified cars.
7.) Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, CarBahn will shop anywhere, if the destination is not available on the site please contact sales.
