Plug-and-Play Controller vs ECU Software Flash

Controller: no ECU unlock, reversible, installs in minutes. ECU Flash: dealer install only, requires FEMTO unlock (7–14 days), highest calibration headroom and top-speed governor removal.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. You can start with Stage 1 on either method and later move to Stage 2. When moving to Stage 2, the required Power Package is included unless you already have these parts installed.
