CarBahn offers two warranty tracks depending on your vehicle’s warranty status:
Vehicles Within the 4YR/50K BMW New Car Warranty
If your BMW is still under the original manufacturer warranty, CarBahn’s tuning products are eligible for matching coverage. That means your CarBahn-equipped vehicle remains protected for the remainder of your BMW’s original 4-year/50,000-mile warranty. Registration at time of purchase is required to activate this protection.

Vehicles Outside of BMW’s 4YR/50K Warranty
If your BMW is no longer covered under the OEM limited warranty, CarBahn still offers protection. For two years from the date of purchase of your CarBahn product, we will repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any defective CarBahn component. Note: This does not include original manufacturer components affected by the failure of a CarBahn part.
This ensures continued coverage for older BMWs receiving performance upgrades, extending your confidence as well as your capabilities on the road.
Extended Care Warranty: Two Levels of Coverage for Enthusiasts
BMW owners who want more extensive protection can choose between two powerful warranty options available through CarBahn Extended Care:
Platinum Powertrain Warranty
This coverage tier covers high-value components, including the engine, turbochargers, transmission, transfer unit, drive axles, and all related seals and gaskets. It is ideal for performance-driven upgrades such as CarBahn’s flash tunes or Performance Controllers.
Gold Powertrain Warranty
Everything in the Platinum plan except for wear items.
What’s Not Covered: Know the Limits
CarBahn’s warranty program is comprehensive, but there are exclusions, just like any manufacturer’s plan. Common exclusions include:
Wear-and-tear items like brake pads, filters, fluids, spark plugs, and clutches
1). Damage from unauthorized modifications or third-party parts
2). Abuse, neglect, racing, or track use
3). Software labor for updates or return shipping fees
4). Improper installation or failure to follow maintenance requirements
