CARBAHN PERFORMANCE CONTROLLER SET UP GUIDE

Before installing the controller, please make note of the 13-Digit Serial Number on the Product Cover Sheet or on the neck of the Controller

Download the Tuning Pro App
Turn on Ignition:
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
- For BMWs, enter diagnostic mode by triple-tapping the start button within 0.7 seconds (without pressing the brake). "Diagnostic mode active" message will appear on the dash.
Turn on Bluetooth and Disconnect Other Bluetooth Devices
- Ensure no other Bluetooth devices (e.g., earbuds, smartwatches, infotainment, iDrive) are connected to your phone. This is required only during pairing; you can reconnect these devices afterward.
Open the Protuning App and Input the 13-Digit Serial Number This can be found on the Product Cover Sheet or on the neck of the Controller.
When prompted, input the last 6 digits of the serial number as the Bluetooth PIN.
Choose the octane mode only based on the fuel in your tank. Note: After selecting the octane mode, the setting will be saved. You only need to access the app when changing modes with respect to the octane in your tank.
