Developed through extensive dyno testing, the Stage 2 calibration optimizes boost, ignition timing, fueling, and torque delivery to produce significantly more power while preserving the smooth, predictable drivability expected from a BMW.
On 93 octane, Stage 2 delivers an additional 74 horsepower and 73 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel. With 100-octane fuel, output climbs to an estimated 513 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque—gains of 98 horsepower and 97 lb-ft over stock.
Power That Stays Consistent
More boost creates more heat, and rising intake-air temperatures can cause the factory ECU to reduce ignition timing and power. The included high-performance heat exchanger helps control that heat so the engine can deliver stronger, more repeatable performance during sustained acceleration, mountain driving, hot-weather use, and repeated pulls.
Its motorsport-grade bar-and-plate core uses optimized end-tank geometry, increased thermal surface area, and F1-derived thermal-efficiency technology to improve heat rejection while maintaining coolant velocity and airflow efficiency. The result is lower, more stable intake-air temperatures with reduced heat soak, timing pull, and power fade. The included B58 high-flow air filters complement the software and cooling upgrades by improving airflow through the factory airboxes—at no additional cost with this package.
